Poppen tunnel farms do not need foundations. The farms can be easily erected and relocated. The galvanised tubing system permits expansions at any time.
Custom arch dimensions can be produced on request.
No other shape is better suited to absorbing light and heat than the semi-circular arch that directly corresponds with the sun’s location. Together with the 200 mµ thick UV stabilised film, this improves plant growth to the highest extent.
The gables can be equipped with galvanised double doors (sheet metal filling and locks). A ventilation wing that can be locked into different positions ensures optimal air exchange. The doors and ventilation wing do not require any maintenance.
The ventilation segments are optional and their amount is freely adjustable according to the tunnel length. Standard operation for Type 700 is by using a hand crank.
